The Huntress: A Novel Free Audiobook Download by Kate Quinn

Quinn has written a novel that is entertaining, thoughtful and well-researched. It tells the story of a young woman named Sarah who finds herself in an extraordinary position where she must decide whether to continue hunting vampires or be normal like everyone else. The audiobook narration was great and I loved how the character's voices were very distinct.

The story starts with a huntress, Artemis, who has had her fill of men and longs for the peace and solitude she once had when she was in the wild. To live this life, Artemis agrees to take care of a dying wolf pup that has been hurt by humans. As Artemis cares for the wolf pup, she learns about the other animals in hibernation and slowly decides to take them out of their icy prisons. The Huntress is an adventure packed novel that will make you think twice about what's going on outside your door.

The Huntress is a thrilling and addictive novel that tells the story of Rachel Soloway, a professional huntress who lives in New York. As her family is slowly torn apart by the tragedy at their company, she has to figure out how to take care of herself and compete with other hunters for jobs. This book does not hold back on the violence, from the torture of animals near the beginning to the brutal murder in the middle.

After her husband is murdered, journalist Helena Hunt goes to rural France to start fresh. There she finds a secret society of hunters who are fighting against the government's killing of wolves. Once she becomes involved with them, they become her family, and she plans to live out the rest of her life in anonymity as one of them. But when the hunters come under attack by a new organization--worse than anything Helena has encountered before--she must use every skill at her disposal to protect them and uncover their secrets before it's too late.
