Poppy Done to Death is the first in a series of books written by Charlaine Harris, who is best known as author of the popular Sookie Stackhouse series. This book finds Poppy, a struggling character that has just joined the detective agency of her deceased aunt. This is her first case and she will soon find out that there are many things more complicated than she originally thought.

Poppy Done to Death is a short novella by Charlaine Harris and narrated by Therese Plummer. It is the first in a series of stories featuring the character of Sookie Stackhouse who is one of the main characters from Harris' famous Southern Vampire Mysteries series. The story starts out with her finding a dead body; she soon learns that it is her friend Poppy's body, who had been missing for six weeks.

'Therese Plummer' was the narrator who picked up this audiobook and narrated it. She did a great job with the story and the book was made into a movie. It is one of my favorite books.

The narrator does an excellent job with the changing perspective of Poppy, and adds to the suspense of the story. It is not easy to listen to at times but I would recommend it.

If you haven't read the book, try to purchase if from your library or borrow it from a friend. It is sure to be worth your time and money.
