This is the first book in the bestselling Malloreon series. It is a classic high fantasy story of adventure, courage, romance, and battles that can be enjoyed by anyone who likes tales of heroism and imagination. These books are usually recommended to young adults because of their attention to detail and their level of maturity.

In the year of King Mananan's death, Kevin, a farm boy and upstart thief, is forced to flee his family's home when his father is killed by the evil sorcerer-king. Assuming the identity of a stableboy in the palace, Kevin earns his way into the king's service to help thwart even more of Mananan's devious schemes and plots.

Pawn of Prophecy is a riveting and highly entertaining fantasy novel by David Eddings. It is the first installment in the Pawn Trilogy, which continues with Queen of Sorcery and King of Sorcery. The audiobook download has 'Cameron Beierle' narrating the story.

The story is told by a puppet called Pawn of Prophecy who tells stories from his life. The way the story is written and the format are different from other books, making it an interesting read for those who enjoy fantasy novels.

David Eddings has been called 'the finest writer of sword and sorcery since Fritz Leiber'. His most famous work, Pawn of Prophecy, is now available in a new audio book narrated by Cameron Beierle. Listen to this classic tale as you experience the adventures of Turak & Gedron.

The Pawn of Prophecy is a fantastical science-fiction/fantasy novel filled with anthropomorphic creatures and magical beasts. My favorite things about the audiobook are the audio quality, the narrator's voice, and the excellent sound effects. The narration sounded nice and smooth despite being a fantasy story. I also enjoyed all of the sound effects.
