Christopher Guetig's voice fits the story perfectly. The narrator is a person who is looking for his mother, finds some strange beings and actually helps them in return. This book is filled with action, adventure, humor and heart. It was a nice way to start this series.

Christopher Guetig is one of the best narrators in this genre of audiobooks, and his voice matches perfectly with Rick Riordan's writing style. The pace of the book was quite fast and full of action, much like Riordan's other books. There are some funny moments mixed in between the great battles and powerful magic, making for a pretty lighthearted and fun read that feels like summertime.
