Gumption: Relighting the Torch of Freedom with America's Gutsiest Troublemakers Free Audiobook Download by Nick Offerman

Nick Offerman does an amazing job narrating this book. He's not just reciting the words but he's really bringing the characters to life. I was actually hooked on the beginning of this book because of the narrator!

"Gumption: Relighting the Torch of Freedom with America's Gutsiest Troublemakers" is a book written by Nick Offerman, a comedian and actor. The book tells the story of his adventures in the late 1970s when he went to work on an organic farm in rural New York as part of an effort to help create a local food network called "The Farm".

One of the most important books in Nick Offerman's life is Gumption by Stephen Wright. This book is a compilation of stories and essays that are funny and insightful into the meaning of being an American.

In Gumption, Nick Offerman takes us on a tour of America's most treasured traditions - and its most controversial - with a humorous, smart, and insightful eye.

The book is about a group of people who have made their way out of many different circumstances and have now found themselves in the American south. The main character, Gumption, is one of these people. He is trying to find his way back to what he calls the "real America," which he says has been lost because Americans are too busy being fearful with the Islamic State, immigrants, and terrorism. Gumption feels like what makes America great is freedom- not fear.

In Gumption, Nick Offerman travels the country in search of people who don't fit into society's mold. In his search he meets patriots, artists, and scientists. All of these people have something that makes their life worth living, but they also have something that makes them unappreciated by others. One such person is Jerry Bransford, who is a man with cerebral palsy who spends his days making and selling pottery out of his garage. Jerry has a lot going for him--helpful friends and an entrepreneurial spirit to name a few--but he doesn't get much recognition because of what he looks like or how society perceives him as crippled.
