Daredevil: Predator's Smile Free Audiobook Download by Marvel ,Christopher Golden
"Daredevil: Predator's Smile" is a short story written by Marvel comics writer Christopher Golden. The story follows the character of Matt Murdock as he hunts down "Predator," a figure who has been seen in New York City stalking criminals. In contrast to other Daredevil comics, this story is told from the point-of-view of an animal rights activist and forensic scientist Dr. Omar Miller who believes that the man known as "Predator" is real and may have ties to an animal rights group.
"Can you guess what I was?" the dark-haired man asked. "A creature of prey." "What kind of prey?" the other man said. "A predator," the dark-haired man said with a smile.
In a fictional world where the creatures of nightmares have become reality, those few who resist them must find the courage to battle a nightmare that threatens all of humanity.
When the Black Cat is taken by a sexually sadistic, power-hungry crime lord, he and Matt Murdock are thrown together. However, there's nothing more than business on the surface of their relationship and Matt would do anything for his girlfriend including acting as protection for him.
"With the help of a creature known as Typhoid Mary, he was able to break into the lab and steal her DNA. After using this to upgrade his suit, he decided to use her DNA in order to hunt down other enhanced beings and make them like him--to force them back into their human form."
The story begins with a homeless woman who is on the subway. She hears a noise and looks up to see a young white girl so she helps her. After she takes care of the girl's panic attack, the subway train crashes and kills them both. Matt Murdock wakes up in a hospital room not remembering anything from before the crash. The woman that he helped is somehow alive and tells him that he is Daredevil.
