Clam Jam is a great book for the summer. It doesn't have a lot of suspense and it doesn't follow any sort of typical plot line, but the characters are always interesting and the writing is easy going.

Jake and Clam embark on an adventure filled with monster hunting and eating as they try to protect their island home from this new threat.
