This is the 15th book in the Andy Carpenter detective series. It took me a while to get into this book because Andy's daughter is killed at the beginning and I felt like I couldn't connect with her character until the end of the book. In general, the story is pretty good and it's definitely worth checking out if you're into detective novels.
