This is a story about the 1961 Syracuse Orangemen of Graham Stadium, who every year face the Pittsburgh Panthers in a game that most football players dream of playing in.
["Roger Wayne"] begins his story with the day of the Super Bowl XLII, when he was hired by Bruce Arians to assist in preparing for the upcoming game. He describes how Arians proved to be a "masterful" coach and why he was able to get one of the best quarterbacks in history on board with his way of thinking. The narrative goes into great detail on Brady's skill set and what made him successful. By the end of each chapter, ["Roger Wayne"] leads the listener through a play-by-play account of one of Brady's games, including all of their schemes and plays.
Tom Brady has been a professional football player since the year he was drafted in 2000 with the 6th pick overall. After eighteen years in the NFL, Tom Brady has won 3 Super Bowls and is now one of the most charismatic and outspoken players in the league. His teammates know that he would do anything for them, including giving them his story.
A Season in the Sun tells the story of how a former Arena Football League coach found his way into the NFL, and then onto arguably the winningest coach in NFL history.
